Young British talents in sight!

The Mass of Men

What happens when you mix Kafka, Thatcher and a mass murderer? A great short film. The Mass of Men, winner of 16 awards, was directed by Gabriel Gauchet from NFTS, and is a real shock.

Richard, a man in his fifties, goes to his appointment at the job centre and faces the lack of understanding of his advisor. What happens next is for you to discover… (not for the faint-hearted).

This short film is one of the eight you will see in the NAHEMI Students Awards program. NAHEMI stands for National Association for Higher Education in the Moving Image, and rewards the best works by students around the country. Jim Smith, from UWE Bristol, directed the opening film, The Man Who Fell From the Sky. Go and support your local talents!
